We've just finished a long weekend here in the ACT, and we have another coming this weekend. The season of Spring is well and truly upon us: the flowers are in bloom, the grass is green, and the weather is as changeable as always. Morning frost, clear blue cloudless day, freezing night ending in thunder and lightning... It makes for somewhat perilous dressing. This Top was a great find, because it's a breathable cotton, that is warm when layered with something like a Jacket, but quite cool when it is on it's own. It also trumps the usual Business Shirt I'd don.
Today's ensemble consists of:
charcoal pinstriped Suit Jacket - Thrifted, Vinnies Dickson
pink plastic heart Badge - Pure Vintage, Etsy
mildly-sheer cream long-sleeved Top - Country Road
black leather Belt - Jag
dull black skinny Jeans with zipper detail - ASOS Black
black leather Chelsea Boots - Country Road
When I arrived home today I found an exciting parcel waiting for me from a recent Etsy splurge, which I'm going to wear tomorrow to show you. I'm so excited. This Blog has been suffering neglect for a while now, but as Spring has sprung, I am feeling more and more inclined to indulge in my wardrobe and to enjoy my clothes. Things are starting to take shape in the house, and we seem to be finding a right place for most things now, which is really nice. I have some leave coming up in November, the majority of which I basically intend to spend nesting. I'm planning on doing a post about the new house too, if anyone is interested? And I have a few other projects up my sleeves as well.
Xx
